JACK-IN HYPER(+)DROMEIf you're interested in taking the theory one step further and want to help us cement an alternative path of where our technologically-hypertrophic societies are heading toward, then you might want to consider joining us at hyper(+)drome. First, check out the projects that already have been activated by members of the network at the main projects page and if you're still feeling inclined to contribute and share something, whether that is human-readable code, (dis)organisation skills, or just plain criticism, drop us a line at info@hyperdrome.net . (But always keep in mind that we're volunteers and non-commercial in perspective, and even though not all of us oppose to profit-driven activities and experiments, we're not able to compensate you financially for your contribution). However, if none of the ongoing projects is stimulating enough for you, you could always propose and start a new project yourself. In fact, we're very happy to infuse and expand this open-ended network with fresh talent and ideas. Get in touch, clearly explaining what you have in mind, and how we may be of help to you and vice versa. As of right now, what we 're able to provide you with is free, yet not unlimited, hosting in our server, a hyperdrome subdomain (ie. http://yourproject.hyperdrome.net), an ftp account, and many many ideas and thoughts by people who really care about the same things you care. And remember: hacking and copyleft are not (and should not be) only about technology; they're neither a lifestyle option. They're an attitude toward life, and a 21st century condition. |
